Hi,

I have seen that the localisation of "User Session Expired" popup messages was possible in 1.7.2. I can't seem to get it to work. I have tried to specify a bundle in gaces-config.xml but that didn't work. I have tried to put the bundle in WEB-INF/classes but that didnt work either...

Any idea?

I am also interested in this. We would like to customise the user session expired message (ideally from a resource bundle). I am also wondering if there is a way to change the styling of the popup...

Hi Emmanuel,

It appears that the ability to read these messages from a bundle is available in 1.7.2.SP1

http://jira.icefaces.org/browse/ICE-3016

Though still no mention about styling :(

Yes I have read this issue (3016), however it is not very helpful. I have tried several ways to get that to work (I even looked in the bridge javascript code) but without success so far...

Ah ok I got it right this time, I must have placed the ressource bundle in the wrong path last time.

Basically copying the bridge-messages.propertied file in WEB-INF/classes does work fine.

What about the styling? Is it possible to change it?

Place your customized bundle into the following folder

Code:
 WEB-INF
  |- classes
    |- *.properties

@styling
I don't see any css-classes for the popup, too. Perhaps there's already a JIRA-issue for this. Otherwise you could create an improvement-issue.

Could you post the content of your property-file? Which versions of IceFaces and JSF do you use?

I have a file with the same content (french locale too). So basically you have changed your ant script so that when you build your WAR, it copies your bridge-messages.properties files under WEB-INF\classes?

This is what I have done and it works (I also use IceFaces 1.7.2). I must admit I think it didnt work initially, so maybe try to restart your server as well (if you haven't tried that yet)...
