I am new in icefaces and I would like to know how to make an icefaces portlet, especially with netbeans.

What I need to know is simply this
Is woodstock going bye bye and we will always use icefaces?
I am new and don't want to learn old stuff that is going away.

Right now I am only interested in developing in Visual beit server faces or icefaces but i don't want to go back and try to convert everything
prompt relies will be appreciated as I am doing the iceface turorial now.
