in the icefaces to woodstock migration it says this.

Accordion Tab webuijsf:accordionTab Use multiple ice:panelCollapsible Coming Soon

But the panel callapsible doesn't exactly have all the same features.

Is icefaces planning on reintroducing the old 1.51 accordian component.

For grins I tested that with icefaces 1.8 and it still worked with minor modifications to the renderer.

Of course the icefaces accordian more closely mirrored a panelcollapsable but was easier to use and had a slick sliding effect.

Were as the woodstock component more mirrors the rico accordian. Which is probably the most translated component ever. Every component library has an accordian.

additional Note:

After playing with the panelcollapseable and effects I find you can easily reproduce this sliding effect, I still like the woodstock component better. Oh well.

Hi,

I need an accordion component on a project I'm working now.

Do you know when the accordion component will be introduced on the ICEfaces' stable release? Or if it will be introduced?

Regards,

Oscar.

Customer support could answer this better, but from what I understand the final version of the accordian was released as the panelseries component.

If you search the forum the original poc is still somewhere, but I had to tweek a bit to make that work.
