Hi,

When I include the page on another, the page doesn't appear, no warnings and no Exceptions... I've read some topics about this, but I had no luck with them... Alone my table.jspx works perfectly but not when I include it...
and I use JBoss Seam with IceFaces.

this is how my directories are organized:
Code:
 view
 -components
                  -tables
                           -table.jspx
 tableIndex.jspx

tableIndex.jspx
Code:
<f:view xmlns:h="http://java.sun.com/jsf/html"
 	xmlns:f="http://java.sun.com/jsf/core"
 	xmlns:jsp="http://java.sun.com/JSP/Page"
 	xmlns:ice="http://www.icesoft.com/icefaces/component">

 	<ice:outputDeclaration doctypeRoot="HTML"
 		doctypePublic="-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"
 		doctypeSystem="http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd" />

 	<html>
 	<head>
 	<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"></meta>
 	<title>Data Table</title>

 	</head>
 	<body>
 		<jsp:directive.include file="./component/tables/table.jspx" />
 	</body>
 	</html>
 </f:view>

table.jspx
Code:
 <ice:form
         xmlns:h="http://java.sun.com/jsf/html"
         xmlns:f="http://java.sun.com/jsf/core"
         xmlns:ice="http://www.icesoft.com/icefaces/component">

 	<ice:outputText value="Testing..." />

 </ice:form>

Any idea?
Thanks!

Hi,

Try the following with a subview:

Code:
<body>
     <f:subview id="tableSub">
          <jsp:directive.include file="./component/tables/table.jspx" />
     </f:subview>
 </body>

Thanks,
Philip

And should it be ./component/tables/table.jspx or ./components/tables/table.jspx?

Hi Philip,

I made a mistake when I said my app directiories...
is "component" not "components"

I couldn't include the page using IceFaces + seam, and using IceFaces alone
I had no problem... But still I couldn't make it work with seam...
is this a Seam issue?

Thanks

sorry for bringing this back..
but I didn't manage to make the "include" work...

as I said before, I only find problems when using with Seam, I've made a test using sonly IceFaces and It worked.

Thanks!
