File Upload Action Problem?  XML

I have a file upload component and dialog in 1.6 DR4, which I am trying to upgrade from 1.5.3.

The page this component sits on is under /<myapp>/<somedirectory>/somefile.jsf

Now, the problem is that the action on the file upload component points to "./uploadHtml", which would be perfect if my JSF file sat at the application's root, but it's in a subdirectory, so, yep, the action ends up pointing to /<myapp>/<somedirectory/uploadHtml...a servlet that clearly doesn't exist.

I was thinking/hoping that I could change the action of the fileupload to point to "/uploadHtml" or even "../uploadHtml" instead of "./uploadHtml" but setting that action has no effect.

Any ideas how to get this to work right? I think it is a odd limitation to have to put the file upload component on pages that are in the root of the application.

Thanks for your help.

This is now fixed in ICE-1580 : Can not use inputFile in subdirectory. Thank you for letting us know about this issue :)

It's not the case anymore, but for those who are stuked with pre DR#x releases, a fast workaround would be to register more servlet mappings for /desired_path/uploadHtml, one for each folder where you need it
Cheers!
