My app keeps losing connection with DR#5

I have the following lines in the terminal window...

17:07:40 error [window.async-connection] : receive broadcast failed
TypeError: _2c6.contentAsDOM() has no properties

After 3 attempts (as per default setup) connection is lost.

I have concurrentDOMViews = true as i need these as the session is shared across the tabs. If this was set to false and the the 2nd lab had a different security profile this will cause issues.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Is this because my pages are not on the root folder?

They are in...

Context/jsf/pages/xxxxx.xhtml

Can you confirm the mappings for this setup.

I have noticed that I needed to configure the upload servlet to be

/jsf/page/fileUpload

What should I do for the others?

Thanks

Craig

Hi Craig,

I have this lines also in my terminal window.

17:07:40 error [window.async-connection] : receive broadcast failed
TypeError: _2c6.contentAsDOM() has no properties

Do you also have some socket write abort exception?

I have the same problem with 1.6DR#5 :

[window.async-connection] receive broadcast failed TypeError: _2c6.contentAsDOM() has no properties message=_2c6.contentAsDOM() has no properties

and I don't get a socket issue.

I have concurrentDOMViews = true too and synchronousUpdate = false

Yes I'm using facelets too. And I use tomcat 5.5.20 to deploy my application.

Do you know where the problem comes from?

I think I found the problem!!
It works for me!

I removed the jetty-util-6.0.1.jar from my lib directory and I don't have the "receive broadcast failed " error anymore. All works fine.

So if you have this jar in your lib directory try to remove it.

Hope it helps!

I have the same probl too. Using Icefaces 1.6 and concurrentDOMViews set true. I have checked my libs, but cannot find jetty. I think there's better solution. Anyone can help?
