Just saw this in JIRA:

http://jira.icefaces.org/browse/ICE-2434

What do you guys mean by this - i.e. what are you guys doing? Maybe I should take a look at the code :), but since I'm a little short on time, will the dependence on Apache web server be broken or will it still be there? Or is just what it says it does - just move the prepackaged war and libs to the core product?

Hi Lawrence,

We are making the ICEfaces Asynchronous HTTP Server (AHS) part of the core ICEfaces product. The AHS will maintain its original functionality, but additionally it will be possible to run AHS as a Servlet. The core ICEfaces product will contain all AHS' sources and build targets.
