Hi,
I am using WebSphere 6.0.2.21 and ICEfaces 1.7.0 Beta 1.
I looked at in this Forum what to do running ICEFaces on WebSphere:
I set the ClassLoader on Parent Last like here:
http://www.icefaces.org/JForum/posts/list/2492.page
I also removed jsf-api.jar, jsf-ibm.jar, and ws-jsf.jar in server lib directory.
When I deployed my ear-File, I did whats written in here:
http://support.icesoft.com/jive/entry.jspa?entryID=773&categoryID=80

The Application is running on WebSphere on Windows but not on WebSphere on Linux. Using Linux, I got the message:

Error Message: Problem in renderResponse: Facelet Not Found: file:.../main/main.jspx
Error Code: 500
Target Servlet: /index.jsp
Error Stack:

I am using a simple Login Page. After successful Login, the message appears. It's a file not found exception, but the file is there.
The Logs show nothing.
Why is that? Does anyone has an idea?

.../main/main.jspx

Here is shown the full path on my Linux machine from root. The path is correct. But is it normal to see the full path?

What do I else have to look for to run IceFaces on WebSphere?

Hi,

not sure if this is an ICEfaces or Websphere related problem. Did you already check the rights for this file? Since you are running your application on a linux machine, maybe the application doesn't have sufficient permissions to open this specific file.

I bet it's the case of the name of your file. Under windows it's case insensitive.
