I have a problem with that contextParam in new ICEfaces 1.7.1, when conection lost by session timeout or something else the application get dead and not redirect to URI. In 1.7.0 its works perfect. I have this:

Code:
   <context-param>
         <param-name>connectionLostRedirectURI</param-name>
         <param-value>index.iface</param-value>
     </context-param>

I remove the simple quotes because icefaces put it by me!! I was testing in Firefox 3 and IE7.

thanks in advanced

Hello,

It looks like this is a regression in 1.7.1 that somehow slipped through our release QA process. :(

There's a JIRA for it: ICE-3218.

Should be fixed on the branches/icefaces-1.7 branch fairly quickly (a few days?). Watch the JIRA for changes in status.

Sorry about this, it shouldn't have happened.

Regards,
Ken

You are right. I managed to reproduced the problem when I disabled the default popups for OutputConnectionStatusComponent.
Your posts are a bit confusing because you are mentioning redirection on session expired and connection lost at the same time.

I actually solved the problem when doing changes for ICE-3186. I'll update the original issue.

sorry for confusion, but before (with 1.7.0) i get a redirection when session expire and with connection lost nicely, mmm, SessionExpiredException should redirect too configuring an error page, right??

Ohh and thanks by your help, i going to update my svn copy!! xD
