Hi, i have my application running in a Tomcat 6 server with Non-blocking IO (NioConnector), using ICEfaces 1.7.1. configured with the TomcatPushServlet. But i am notice that [INFO] log of ICEfaces said:

Code:
07-jul-2008 17:44 [INFO ] ICEfaces JSP parser disabled. This is a Facelets-only configuration.
07-jul-2008 17:44 [INFO ] Asynchronous HTTP Service available: false
07-jul-2008 17:47 [INFO ] Asynchronous HTTP Service available: false
07-jul-2008 17:47 [INFO ] Adapting to Send Updated Views environment.
07-jul-2008 17:47 [INFO ] GlassFish ARP available: false
07-jul-2008 17:47 [INFO ] Jetty ARP available: false
07-jul-2008 17:47 [INFO ] Adapting to Thread Blocking environment

What that means?? My app is running in a "Thread Blocking environment" ? How can make sure that my app is running in nio mode??

My tomcat log said:

Code:
7/07/2008 04:30:55 PM org.apache.catalina.core.AprLifecycleListener init
INFO: The APR based Apache Tomcat Native library.....
 7/07/2008 04:30:55 PM org.apache.tomcat.util.net.NioSelectorPool getSharedSelector

 7/07/2008 04:30:55 PM org.apache.coyote.http11.Http11NioProtocol init
INFO: Inicializando Coyote HTTP/1.1 en puerto http-8084
 7/07/2008 04:30:55 PM org.apache.catalina.startup.Catalina load
INFO: Initialization processed in 960 ms
 7/07/2008 04:30:55 PM org.apache.catalina.core.StandardService start
 INFO: Arrancando servicio Catalina
 7/07/2008 04:30:55 PM org.apache.catalina.core.StandardEngine start
INFO: Starting Servlet Engine: Apache Tomcat/6.0.16
 7/07/2008 04:30:56 PM org.apache.coyote.http11.Http11NioProtocol start

That means that the NioConnector is created and started, but i dont know if my iceApp is using that NIO advantages. Or is just paranoia?? hehe xD

Well, I think if you've declared the Tomcat Push Servlet and mapped that to /block/receive-updated-views/*, your app wouldn't work unless the NIOConnector was working. That log message about 'Adapting to Thread Blocking environment' is just spit out unless we detect Jetty or Glassfish ARP.
