Hi,
does the following code work?

Code:
 <ui:param name="myFlag" value="#{mainProcessNavigationBean.calcdiscussionVisible(myParam)}" />
 <disc:component id="discussionComponent" rendered="#{myFlag}" />

Hi,
you could use icePDF. There is an example included describing how to displaying a pdf.

In your jsf it would look somthing like this:

Code:
 <ice:graphicImage
   style="margin:0 auto 0 auto;"
   rendered="#{pdf.currentDocumentState != null}"

   width="#{pdf.currentDocumentState.pageWidth}"
   height="#{pdf.currentDocumentState.pageHeight}"
   alt="#{pdf.currentDocumentState.documentName}"

   value="/pdfRenderer/?documentId=#{pdf.currentDocumentState.documentId}" />

I have a similar problem. I'm using redirctTo in order to download a document (a servlet is involved). Using 1.8.1 worked fine, but 1.8.2 seems to break something. After the redirect the GUI doesn't respond anymore.
Hitting F5 after the redirectTo makes the GUI accepting commands again.

Any suggestions?

Regards,
Dennis.

hi,
can anyone plz send me a proper row selection example?
And What if i want to select all row by click on select all button any idea?
thanks ,

Hi there,
it would be helpful to see your data model, but here are a few tips.

  • Your data model (list) should contain items which have a property for "isSelected"
  • Bind this property to the row selector within dataTable for the most simple case.
  • If you want to select all row just iterate over your model and set the property to true for each item
  • Code:
    menuItem.getAttributes().put(key, value);

    This line attaches an attribute to the item which can be read in the action litener.

    Code:
     public void showDialog(ActionEvent event) {
             Map<String, Object> attributes = event.getComponent
     ().getAttributes();
     ...

    Wrapping the messages into a panelGrid and assinging its effect attribute works for me.

    Just in the case there is still a need for an answer. ;)

    ActionListener
    Code:
    void myActionListener(ActionEvent)

    Action
    Code:
    String myAction()

    In order to return an outcome to decide where to go next, you should use an action-method.
    Somehow like:
    Code:
    return isMatching ? LOGIN_SUCCEEDED : LOGIN_FAILED;
    Could you post the content of your property-file? Which versions of IceFaces and JSF do you use?

    Regards.
    Place your customized bundle into the following folder

    Code:
     WEB-INF
      |- classes
        |- *.properties

    @styling
    I don't see any css-classes for the popup, too. Perhaps there's already a JIRA-issue for this. Otherwise you could create an improvement-issue.

    Regards.
    I explained the way how it works for me @http://www.icefaces.org/JForum/posts/list/10691.page

    Hi,
    I'm trying to highlight the currend day in the claender popup by using the technique which was proposed by Mark (http://www.icefaces.org/JForum/posts/list/5170.page#23270).

    Code:
     <ice:selectInputDate
                 renderAsPopup="true"
                 renderMonthAsDropdown="true"
                 renderYearAsDropdown="true"

                 highlightClass="todayStyleClass"
                 highlightUnit="DAY_OF_YEAR"
                 highlightValue="#{logicController.today}"
     ...

    Code:
         public String getToday()
         {
             Calendar cal = Calendar.getInstance(LogicController.locale);
             int dayOfYear = cal.get(Calendar.DAY_OF_YEAR);

             return Integer.toString(dayOfYear);
         }

    As far as I can see the method returns the right value. Can anybody confirm this behavior?

    Regards.
    It would be helpful to tell me which party you'd like to change. ;)

    As far as I can remember I only added the property-files (and changed my ant-build-file to copy the resources into the right path of my war.file).

    Regards.
    You need to copy the file attached to the JIRA-issue into your class-folder. If you'd like to add different languages just copy and rename the filename to <filename>_<language>, e.g. <filename>_de_DE.

    The text messages used by the ICEfaces bridge to display error message dialogs ("Connection Lost", "Session Expired", etc.) can now be specified in an application resource bundle for localization and customization. See http://jira.icefaces.org/browse/ICE-3016 for details.

    is there any Style Guide for ICE Faces components like ZK Style Guide http://www.zkoss.org/doc/styleguide/ch02s07.html?

    http://www.icefaces.org/docs/v1_7_2/tld/index.html gives some hints about the style classes for each components.
