Hi I dont want to submit fields such as inputText etc, I would just like a commandButton to be submitted so its actionListener is called.

Is this possible?

Thanks

Craig

Cannot be installed as the servlets clash

Hi you cannot use richfaces ajax4jsf with icefaces.
Code:
 FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getExternalContext().getRequest()

you could write a custom renderer and output @nbsp; ?

I define mine as folllows:

Code:
 	<context-param>
 		<param-name>javax.faces.CONFIG_FILES</param-name>
 		<param-value>/WEB-INF/faces-config.xml,/WEB-INF/navigation-config.xml,/WEB-INF/beans-config.xml</param-value>
 	</context-param>

Try using "javax.faces.CONFIG_FILES" as you param

Craig
have you tried immediate="true" ? This will miss out the validation phase.

Or put the inputText in a different form?
I too would like to be do this, does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Craig
Yes we got this when deployed as ROOT in jboss 4.2.2 when we reverted back to plain tomcat this was resolved
