Unfortunately after ever partial submit you have to reset the events back. If you using 1.8 or greater then you can use Ice.onAsynchronousReceive(id, callback);

Did you try "styleClass" ??
Do not use partial submit on links; Some times using regular JSF h components instead of ice components helps.

Can you post your code link code and javascript code that will help some times.
Unfortunately for ice:selectInputDate we cannot disable partial submit. For this very reason we have to use DHTML calendar 1.0 as we do not need advance calendar features.

Try using IFrame and set the movie href target as IFrame name.
Did you try changing the the css width for this ??

.iceSelInpDateInput {
WIDTH: 150px
Unfortunately this will not work if you have partial submits on the page. You have to use bindings and have an action event that does the count.

If you are using 1.8 or greater then you can use Ice.onAsyncronousReceive to call necessary Javascript function after partial submit to keep track of the count.
I noticed flicker of overlay in Firefox 3.5 opening model pop up.
Try this.

<script type="text/javascript">
Event.observe(window, 'load', function(){

I have same issue with my application as well is it safe?

ICEfaces 1.8.0
Build number: 12
Revision: 18727

I am using TabSet with tabChangeListener. When user is navigating away from the screens (between tabs) I show the dirty flag message using onbeforeunload. The message show up but the tabChangeListener fires and changes the tab selected index and the highlighting messups.

OK button works
Cancel button I cannot prevent tabChangeListener from firing.

Is there any way that I can prevent this from happening or is there a better way to show the dirty flag.

Thanks in advance.

Use CSS to show the broder for empty cells.

Thanks ken. Can we know more about 1.8.1 is this just Bug fix release? If so where can we see the list of things.
When will this fire? I have session-timeout defined in web.xml and I have synchronousUpdate as "FALSE". The callback never fired. Can some one provide more details when this will be fired?
Thank you it works now. For those who are using use it with prototype http://www.prototypejs.org/api/utility/try-these so hat it can work even after the bug fix.
