Hi,

I have seen a component to draw signature with your mouse at
http://thomasjbradley.ca/lab/signature-pad#demos

and I would like to create a ice:signature wrapper around.

I've been using icefaces for a couple of years but i have no experience in creating new components. I am targeting JSF 2 and icefaces 2.

Anyone interested in giving me a hand with this? or can someone point me in the right direction to building new components?

Regards,
Pablo.

Guys,

one of the requirements for my new project is to be able to sign on an Ipad.

This guy here has all the javascript API needed to do this:

I have been using icefaces for a couple of years but I would love to see this as a JSF component.

Can anyone put me in the right direction or give me a hand with this, I have never created JSF components but i am keen to give it a go.

If i use setEventPhase...

This is the warning it produces

Hi,

I have a background thread that is ajax pushing updates to the UI...

Can I perform navigation handling from this thread?

I want to redirect the user to some other page when the process is completed.

Hi,

I have an ice:fileEntry.

The first thing that surprises me is that I was expecting a flashie looking file upload component and I get a POHU Plain old html upload.

The second one is that i have read somewhere that to trigger the upload i need to put a h:commandButton next to it. Is that right?

Whenever I do this.

Firefox shows the following:

<partial-response>
?
<changes>
<update id="javax.faces.ViewState">1569695619940052502:6489392397089986190</update>
</changes>
</partial-response>

Can anyone tell me why is firefox redirecting me to this?
Looks like by using advanced components there is a lot more .js resources being downloaded on every request. Specially yui js files.

Shouldn't these be cached by default?
How do i do that?
I am trying to use the dateTimeEntry component but doesnt get any css. Why is this?

<?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8' ?>

Hi

I can't get the table headers for a scrollable table align with the table body.

I am using columnWidths="120px, 70px, 220px, 40px, 40px, 50px, 60px, 85px, 100px"

Columns have a commandSortHeader too.

Is it possible at all?

I've attached a screnshot

Thank's mate... that's what we were looking for
Hi there

Is there any reason to use the heart beat monitoring if we are not using AJAX push.

We are using Single Sign On (with Sun Access Manager) on our Application. For every request to our application, the policy agent is making a call to the Identity Manager to verify the session. We are trying to reduce the number of times the Identity Manager gets called as it is impacting our performance.

We are going into production in a week from today....

Any help would would be appreciated.

Pablo.
I don't have a support contract ...
I was just looking at 1.8.1 and it is not there. Can you confirm that it is there?

Thanks.

Pablo.
Hi,

We need a slider for our IceFaces application. Alternatively, we could survive with a spinner. Does anyone have either of these?

If we have to develop one, where do we start?

Pablo.
