ICEsoft’s Technology Used by Northrop Grumman
ICEreader is employed in PORTICO, an AF management system

CALGARY, Alberta — January 17, 2005 — ICEsoft Technologies Inc., the leading provider of Java browser and Java Web access software, today announced that ICEreader® is being employed by PORTICO, a management system developed by the Air Force. PORTICO is a revolutionary information management system that acts as a warehouse, consolidating investigative, operational, and intelligence information.

ICEreader acts as a rendering front end to the application supporting a heterogeneous range of client terminals and display devices. This aids PORTICO in standardizing the collection, storage, and dissemination of intelligence information reports, creating a seamless system in which all items and agencies interact to support the national counter intelligence (CI) structure.

“PORTICO is essential in the counter intelligence of terrorism, and ICEsoft is proud to be aiding Northrop Grumman in this effort,” said Brian McKinney, CEO, ICEsoft Technologies.
