Should ICEfaces 3 and ICEfaces EE 3 not support your preferred development and deployment software profile, consider ICEfaces 1.8 or ICEfaces EE 1.8. ICEfaces 1.8 is mature and robust technology. If your development and/or deployment environment requires that you stick to JSF 1.x for example, ICEfaces 1.8 is the right choice.
