JSF Quick Start Tutorial
This tutorial will demonstrate just how to get an ICEmobile JSF application up and running in a matter of minutes. We will cover the exact steps required to create a simple 'Hello World' ICEmobile JSF application using the Eclipse ICEmobile plugin. Here is what we will need to get started:
- Eclipse 4.2 (Juno) IDE for Java EE Developers
- ICEfaces-3.2.0-ICEmobile-1.2.0-Beta-Eclipse-4.2-plugins.zip
- Apache Tomcat 7.0.30 (Binary Distribution -> Core -> .zip)
ICEmobile also offers a Netbeans IDE plugin which can be found in the ICEmobile downloads section.
Configure the plugin
1. In Eclipse, navigate to *Help -> Install New Software
