I have a number of links in a pdf that jump to different parts of the pdf(such as index, main menu, etc). Once a link is clicked, it gets a grey background. Is there a property that can disable this highlight of visited links?
Currently as a workaround I change the system property "org.icepdf.core.views.page.annotation.highlight.*" color and alpha to make the highlight invisible. Is there any better alternative?
Also as a follow up, I have tried changing the Highlight option of Link annotations from the utility pane in the viewer. But the highlight style is always "Invert" even if it is changed to a different style and saved. Can someone confirm this behavior?
The link annotation has highlight mode as defined by the PDF spec and it's up the the viewer to respect the highlight setting.
If you have no control of the PDF content then I think your setting of org.icepdf.core.views.page.annotation.highlight is the way to go. If you had control then you can set the highlight type to none ("N").
I've confirmed the editing feature is working well in 6.3
